Triangle Bible Institute

1. How long is the Triangle Bible Institute Program?
TBC is a two year program covering nearly 25 different classes from Faith, Church Government, Intercession, Leadership and much more. These 25 classes are taught in four segments also known as semesters.


2. How long are semesters?
Each semester has thirty six teachings or lessons in it. Tests are given after every three lessons, totaling twelve tests per semester.


3. When I complete this program will I receive a degree?
TBI is currently is not accredited. However, for now when you complete the program you will be presented with a certificate of completion. Those who wish to proceed into ministry will be able to apply for your ministerial license and ordination with Triangle Christian Center.


4. I have recently felt called into the ministry. What will this ministry training school qualify me to do?
This program will equip you in all the areas of the Word. It will be a great starting place for anyone that is starting off in the ministry or for someone that is just looking to advance their knowledge. If you complete the program and take other needed steps to prove your faithfulness in the ministry you will be able to apply for your ministerial license.


5. What do I need to start the program?
To complete the program you should turn in your application and two references, one being a pastoral reference. If you are a member of TCC you do not need to submit the pastoral reference. Admission packets are available by contacting the Triangle Christian Center office.


6. What is the cost for the program?
The TBI program is free of charge. It is our hope to invest these materials into you and you do the same for someone else. You do need to have an active iTunes account to download classes with the Podcast feature. If you prefer to receive classes by CD’s or DVD’s they can be ordered through the Triangle Christian Center Bookstore. CD’s are $4 each and DVD’s are $7.00 each. Please allow 1-2 weeks for duplication & processing.


7. I work full time and have a family. How much time will this program take out of my schedule?
This will vary from person to person. Each class is about one hour in length. You should average about two lessons a week.


8. Do I need to be a mature Christian to do TBI?
No, TBI is for anyone. If you are a new believer or a Veteran Christian all will benefit from this program.


9. Do I need to be a member of Triangle Christian Center to complete the program?
No this program is available to anyone who wishes to take it.


10. When can I start the program?
At any time you choose. Once your application has been accepted you will be given an online student account in which you can log in and view outlines, listen to classes, and take tests.


11. Who are the courses taught by?
All 25 classes are taught by Pastoral staff at Triangle Christian Center or affiliated Pastors & Ministers. The primary teacher of every class is Pastor Jim Whitfield, Senior Pastor of Triangle Christian Center. For more information on Pastor Jim click here.


12. What are the requirements for admission?
Applicants must have completed high school via diploma or GED. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Special exceptions are made as requested for 16-18 year olds who are recommended by the Pastoral staff of Triangle Christian Center.
